Been cart driver last 6 or 7 years for brother and nephew, 2 combines on beans and not a bad job, get to the corn and with 1 combine it keeps you on the move all the time. Not a bad job with newer equip that I don't have to pay for.

WinkYep the fastest way to become a millionaire is start with a lot more and farm. Real quick you will be down to just a million.LOLLOLLOL

Another place I check in on was talking this could be the year it will take a million to buy the biggest model combines coming out and a head for it.ConfusedConfusedConfused I can remember when a Gleaner hillside was creeping up on $100,000 and back there in the 1980's grain prices where on a new plateau. Then everything went hell in not time.CryCryCry

The video is fun to watch - thanks for sharing. A good grain cart operator is a very pivotal role. Exceptional Communication skills & knowing machine capabilities & limitations are a must. If cart operator takes grain from a loaded combine while driving thru an adjacent irregular field topography(depression/ditch/contour), it could spell disastrous for the combine’s unloading auger becoming damaged by contacting the cart. They must have a thorough knowledge of how to legally / safely load a truck. His cart scales allow him an indication of total pounds. And most times, the carts total pounds records provide initial field yield data.
