Anybody have any knowledge on dogs eating dirt? I have two currently that is digging up my yard and eating the dirt.
why do they do it and how the heck can I stop it
I am still confident of this;

they are lacking nutrients/minerals, we had the same problem, i got one of those mineral blocks for livestock and once they licked it, they stopped digging up and eating the dirt in our yard. beware tho, some of those mineral blocks will have alot of salt in them too, some have less salt. you'll see an increase of water drinking until they level out.

My vet said to give my dogs them baby carrots, she (my dog), eats them and eliminated the grass eating, and the eye infections that she would get.  She said it was all related to each other.

p.s.  Lou, talked to Ray yesterday, and said about breakfast again, but someone, me, still has to work! LOL
