Hi everyone.
Came across this harness in a bin of other nos parts. It's got a tag wired to it 228523 which I believe it's the under seat harness on D14,D15. The wire and loom and ends look clean and don't appear to have been plugged in but the tape looks funky. Thanks for looking |

I'm just going to put this question here in this post as well.
Does this transport valve look new. Isn't this where it would be bolted to tractor. Thanks again Edited by Mikez - 24 Feb 2020 at 9:30am |

The covering on that harness doesn't look like the OEM woven fabric. It looks like the aftermarket cotton woven fiberloom that I use over my harnesses. Not saying the harness itself may not be OEM. A lot of OEM harnesses had tape on em' in spots... HTH

Thanks lonn. Not to ask a dumb question but what would make you put this valve on, when you use a plow or disk harrow with transport wheels along with mounted snap coupler

You need a transport valve when using TB hitched implements with a remote cylinder. ie plow and disc. It lets the lift arms raise without raising implement for weight transfer. It works quite well on a WD & 45. Have no experience with others. For maximum effect, you screw the knob fully out. When not using TB feature you screw all the way in. Otherwise when you raise implement and put in HOLD,it will lower back down.
