Could domeone with a true 7' mounted CA disc please take a hitch length measurement for me between these 2 points? Id sure appreciate it. The reason id like the measurement taken out to the flat steel is then it shouldnt matter if its pin or snap style.

Steve, I measured my WD disc from the main frame to the end of the snap-coupler loop. The measurement was 46".
All the #20 disc's used the same drawbar so the measurement will not help your cause. The best way is to count the coulters on the back gang. 5-1/2' will have 6 per side. 6-1/2' will have 7 per side The 5-1/2' & 6-1/2' both have spacers between the spools. The 7' & 8' don't 7' will have 7 per side 8' will have 8 per side Allis only made these 4 disc sizes in the 20 series. Edited by DennisA (IL) - 14 Aug 2017 at 1:49pm |

I'll add my thanks as well. I purchased what I now know is a model 20 a couple weeks ago to use with my WD's. Evidently I have a 7 ft one (thought it was 8 by measuring, but doesn't really matter) and keys out the WD, as it does not have the spacers. I have been looking for one for several years. Freed it all up, but haven't used it yet. I'm curious to see how it does.
