I can't wait to get the hitch back together on this green thing tomorrow. A cylinder on it, a lot of grease and we will see how good or bad a job it does. I'm gonna leave the wings folded up on it and see how it works on sod. If it works ok, I'll disk up my hay field this fall and let it lay fallow next year and then fall seed it to Alalfafa and red clover. Darn that's all I need, more work. I'll be 75 next winter and I told the 3 boys I won't keep the bees after I'm 75. Two of them are already working working with them, one on keeping them and one on marketing the products. Still got 75 hives full of the girls, half of them here and half at #2 sons place.

Dads old green disk just kinda moved the top inch or so of dirt around, if there was any fox tail (alive or dead) it would just ride up over it. finally replaced it with a used Kewanee disk...night and day difference to the better.

Shameless. I hooked on to this one with the 200. I left the wings up and went to work. In sod it went down to the centers. I had Togo over the sod 3 times to get the sod disk up good. I had a light Kewanee disk with all new blades on it. As light as it was, it would not have done a good job. I've got to replace every zerk on this thing. I couldn't gay any of them to take grease.
