Bleed the diesel fuel system on his portable welder?  He filled up the tank.  Then he put some sort of fabric on the fuel fill hole and blew in it.  After a couple times, he tried and it started right up.  Funniest thing I'd ever seen any of them do.  Well, maybe Jane getting hit in the eye by the rifle scope the first time shooting a rifle.LOLLOL

Had a 76 Dodge dually with a 383 in it and if you let it sit and idol for more than a minute or two when it was over a 100 degrees it would vapor lock.  Would end up blowing in tank through fill hole as much pressure as possible then quickly put hand over whole then reach in with other hand and crank engine.  Would always start right up, then jump in and take off down the road with it held to the floor until it cleared up.  Desperate situations call for desperate measures, sure glad nobody with a camera was around to record it. Done it many times wrenching on old vehicles. Stick a blow gun in the tank. Wad up a rag, and put it over the hole to help keep the air from coming back out. Give it a good blast of air. Helps prime the fuel pump and carb.

YEP... just dont use TOO MUCH AIR...

also do this with 55 gallon drum of gear lube... put a 3/4 inch valve on the small port and lay on its side... if it is COLD and drain slow, put a blow gun in the BIG HOLE and put a couple small blasts in ( 3-4 psi) to make it come out faster !!
Like them all, but love the "B"s.

I use the same method to drain water heaters.
