They are a MUST on these machines to control the use , instead of trying to use throttle lever and fwd and reverse lever to stop the shock on bull gears and to actually control speed

Had a H4 loader with a 615 detachable backhoe for over 10 years but traded it on a New Holland 785 skid loader , then a FD5 FA Dozer .
Used the H4 for backfilling foundations and could not imaging running it without decelerator . Being able to creep or stall machine before changing direction without using hand throttle was a MUST . Change in work I did made it so HD5G and AC 715 TLB , FD5 worked better doing sewer instillations . Still have the hoe off the machine setting out back as cylinders on it also swap with my 715B machine - but should sell it as not using it much now |
