    Posted: 30 Jan 2020 at 7:41am
In late 2010 early 2011, I posted and sold a Dealer Sign. If memory serves me correctly, a member from the VA or MD area bought it. I think he was building an AC museum to show his collection. I have searched all my post and messages and can't find a lead. I would love to reconnect with him and maybe visit his place.

Now that I am retired and hope to travel , visiting AC points of interest is on my bucket list.

Thanks,
Joe/NC

Could possibly be Fred Lucabaugh maybe in Hanover, PA.? Right near MD.  Fred has a nice little AC museum with lots of AC memorabilia. He was purchasing a sign here n' there...

Thanks Steve, another thing I remember, his work truck, he drove down had MD. tags, but I thought his home was an adjoining state. Kind of Delmar Peninsula area.

Hi Richard,

These appear at most AC Dealers through the 60's to their demise, pretty hard to come by, I tried to obtain one a few years still out the front of a machinery dealer.

Great buy!

Hi Travis,

Thanks for the info. Not sure if this one is original to Australia or an import. Can imagine local ones would be few and far between. Can't believe how crazy sign prices are here and in the US!

Cheers,
Richard

You are right about sign prices! I was the losing bidder at Burns and Co.
The sign is Australian, I'll try and dig a photo out of one I found a number of years ago
