What is the front and rear center to center tread width on an AC 720? Any help would be appreciated.

TREVMAN, it has the 8" wide 10" rims on the front, and 31"x15.5"-15 rims on the rear. Thanks.

Looks like 40.5 inches to me on the back. I have the loader tires on the front, and set the turf tires behind, looks like about 40 inches on the front too. Wondering what you need the measurement for? Just curious, hope this helps Trev,

It really does help, Trev. I'm altering an Ingersoll garden tractor, and I wanted to know the comparative tread with of the 720 to the Ingersoll 446 or 448. It looks like the 720 is around 10" longer in wheelbase and 7" wider in tread width. I have purchased 720 tires for the IR, 31x15.5-15 rears and 20x8-10 fronts for the IR and wanted a sense of how they would look. I also now know about how much wiggle room I have to widen the IR front axle to accommodate the 720 fronts. My IR is going to grow in length a bit, get a little wider, and be repowered.

I really appreciate the help, thank you.

The real question is why are you altering an IR tractor? Dont they still have that hydraulic drive system? I have known wet chickens with more tractive effort than a hydraulic drive IR. Just saying. There are alot of people out there that thought hydraulic drive was like hydrostatic drive, which it isnt even close. Is this a parade tractor or just building something to show?

Hey, no problem. Another thing you might want to consider is the 6-9 trailer/loader tires and wheels that were optional for 620/720/PowerMax tractors. I got mine shipped to the door from Northern Tool, thought they were a good deal considering they were the only place I found them. They are narrower and taller than the turf tires and have a higher weight rating, and I think they look cool. And KcGrain, Ive never measured the tractive effort of a wet chicken, I think that would be disturbing...lol, Trev.
