Methinks the drive train will have a bit of trouble with 1500 HP applied to it.

If it's at 9000 lbs or so, the rear end would be OK.

I think Tim smith from Smitty's oliver parts near Wooster Ohio had one of those in a oliver 1950? At one time. I might even be on the shelf in his wearhouse.
There are 3 ways to do job GOOD, FAST, CHEAP. YOU MAY CHOOSE 2. If its FAST & CHEAP it won't be GOOD, if it's GOOD & CHEAP it won't be FAST, and if its GOOD & FAST it won't be CHEAP!!!!

There were some Minny-Mo's with Allison's at one time.  The sound of those engines is so cool.

Well yeah, but 1500hp is in the 'combat horsepower' classification... if it's in 'industrial/ag', one would be wise to derate it to oh... mebbie 6-700 or so, to make sure that the engine provides a long and troublefree life of pulling a 60-bottom plow through frozen tundra in 130F heat with really lousy fuel... Lessee... back to the Wismer-Luth agricultural power formulae, that's probably suitable for about a 98% slip rate...

Just drippin' cool... the sound and fury...
