am contemplating going to an alternator to replace the generator on d19 gas. can you advise which alternator you utilized, is there spacing to complete the conversion and is there a taylor made bracket available to mount the alternator to the tractor to complete the conversion. thankyou.....tp studer. wooster,ohio.

Talk to Steve @ B&B Custom Cir. He may not have done a 19 but I bet he can. He sells a complete conversion kit for older tractors anyway.

The upgrade to an Alternator would be an easy swap. You would want to use a 10SI series Delco Remy Alternator for your swap. Go with a three wire system for charging, and you'll be good ta' go!  Thanks "Tuck" for the referral. I don't care what Bob D. said bout' ya, it ain't true, It just ain't true.....Besides, I told him it was your Birthday.....!
