can any one tell me if the spark plugs used on the d-17 is the same for all the series?  i have a 58 and the plugs are short and i think on dads series 4  the were the longer ones?

The autolite 295 is the short 3/8" reach plug for early 17’s, Autolte 405 with the 3/4” reach is for the later ones

The change was made at chassis s/n 24001 and up I think. But, many older tractors may have had a head replaced at some time in the past and then would have the newer style head, required the longer plugs.
