Anyone have a series 4 with 14.9x28s on it. Do they look funny or not much difference. I know 16.9s look beefier but not necessary for what I use it for.
Can't fix stupid

I have 14.9 x 28 on the 6140 I just bought and I think they look puny:) They are some oldddddd Firestones at about 20% which might have something to do with it.

Does anyone know the Outside Circumference  of a mounted 16.9 x 28 tire ?
This would be at the midpoint of the treads.

Also, the max width of same?

TIA, gatz

Those questions are answered in the tire company's Ag Tire Handbooks. The 2015 Titan/Goodyear one that I downloaded a couple years ago says the circumference is 168 inches, tire width 17.2". Diameter 56.4", rolling radius 25.7". Bias ply type R1. Preferred rim width 15"

Funny how people gets used to a "look" and think it's perfect. If you have a tractore for 20 years or grow up with it. It looks normal. THen you see another with bigger or smaller tires and it looks funny.

14.9's are small for that, I think 16.9's are perfect I would get whatever tire that matches the rim or that you can afford.
