I know this has been on here before but my power director lever pops out of high range today when working it hard to load manure. How do you fix it???

A few possibilities.
Make sure that the set bolt that holds the lever to the shaft is tight so that the shaft makes the full motion.

There is a stop bolt at the front end of the travel...may need to back it off a little so the power director will lock in.
Shims can be moved inside but that's all I'm going to say about the shims as I have not moved them in a hi-lo type unit. Have done the WD/WD 45 types but they are different.

These are some of the ideas that I remember reading on here. I would think that those with more knowledge will check in with more.   Den

Ok The stop bolt is not there . I moved the plate forward ad it was slotted it seemed to help as it didn’t do it again.

Most likely to jump out when oil is cold and engine is wide open throttle.
