Caan't find my book at the moment. What do I use for PS fluid in a D17 series 2? I've seen anything from 303 to 20W to modern automotive PS fluid.

Keep it simple. Use the same fluid you use in your hydraulic system. For me, that is 821XL, or HyTran etc, etc.

I have HyTran in my Series II.....works well except in extreme cold, it wants to pump out of the filler/vent a little 'til it gets warmed up. I'm not sure why but if I used it a lot in the winter, I would change to ATF.
