28" rim, your choice of tire width. 13.6 , 14.9 , 16.9, 18.4
I've been to Lampases as I have relatives in the area. Aunt still lives out in the country with a Jonesboro address. Edited by Jim Hancock - 10 Nov 2017 at 8:55pm |

Mine has 16.9 28 tires. Should have 14 in wide rims. but will work on 12 in. I think a WD would have 13.6 on 12 inch, some have 14.9.

My 45 has 14.9s on it and my D-17 has 16.9s on it. The 16.9s would look REAL funny on the smaller 45 rims, they are just too narrow. The tire would bulge, e.g. bow outward and around. I don't think I'd trust em on a hill side at all. Just my thoughts.

I have used 16.9 tires on a 12" rim for years with absolutely no problems. Early D17s came from the factory with 16.9 tires as an option. They were on 13" rims.

Most problems can be solved with the proper application of high explosives.

Mine's got tires and wheels from some green/yellow combine... but to make 'em fit, I had my laser guy cut me some wheel centers with proper bolt pattern, I cut most of the original centers out, and welded the new ones in...
I don't remember what size they are, but they're 26" rims, fairly wide, but not substantially taller... they're not width-adjustable, and they're not stock-looking. They were incredibly inexpensive, though. Silly inexpensive, considering they were darned near new. Under a hundred bucks for the pair cheap... They work great... I spent ten bucks on a can of orange paint, so that makes them beautiful... ![]() |

Ten Amendments, Ten Commandments, and one Golden Rule solve most every problem. Citrus hand-cleaner with Pumice does the rest.
