Anyone have 18.4-28’s on the back of their d17? My 16.9-28’s are getting wore and my dad has some 18.4-28’s off his 175 that are in good shape. Thoughts????

I have 18.4 x 28 tires on my Series IV. It's ready for a new pair and I'm shuddering at the cost!

I wouldn't hesitate one minute to put 18.4s on it. If you've got em', use em'.
Saw a series 4 at an auction once with 18.4x30s on it, looked great! |

18.4 X 28's are Ok unless you are OLD or short legged. Took 18.4's off my ser. IV and put it back on 16.9's.

You may need wider rims.

I’m a little worried about the width because I cultivate 32” rows with this tractor, the rim width and sidewalls not holding up is also a concern.

18.4's are fine to run down 30" rows. We use 18.4 x38's to side dress all the time.
