im restoring a d17 series II for a FFA project for the Iowa State Fair. im getting really excited about it because seeing something that you worked hard on and put you blood, sweat, and tears into just brings back memories, even tho im 20 know boy i sure wish i had the chance to have been farming back in the day.

I was wondering i know that when the wd-45 came out it came with a tool box full of tools, like the spin out wrench, a grease gun, and a spark plug wrench, i believe. Did the d17s come with that to? i think it would be awesome to have the tools along with the tractor in the tool box if they did, it tell alot about allis-chalmers and make people say wow! they treated there buyers great.

Thank you to all that can help!

I'm sure they supplied the wheel tread change tooling. Please be sure you paint it the correct color of orange.....the correct color doesn't cost any more than the wrong color.

It supposed to be persian 1 seems to dull. But we like Persian 2 so much we went with it. It looks amazing and exactly the color we want it. I don't think a project is worth doing if you can't do it the way you want.
