   Is it possible to convert a D17 Series III to series IV live hydraulics by replacing clutch pressure plate, drive line components etc with series IV parts?

   I think you would have to get a complete torque tube from a Series IV.  To work with it, you would also need the valve body, lines and console ... Probably easier to sell your Series III and buy a IV.
