Does the new pilot bearing simply slide onto the end of the trans. shaft, & the crank rides against it once the engine uis in place ?? There wasn't one on it when we removed the engine. thanks, keith so. va.

pilot bearing should go in the flywheel, than the clutch shaft should slide into the pilot bearing
