Hey guys, I’m getting my engine back together and am ready to install the governor assembly. I see there’s thrust bearing on the carrier that works with the governor weights. I know this may be a dumb question, but the thrust bearing appears locked into the carrier instead of spinning freely in it. I’m assuming this is wrong-that it should spin freely? I see bearings inside the holes on the side.

One thrust washer is usually stuck to spool, then the bearing and another thrust washer free to rotate. MACK
