Bought this 10 years ago for D17. Still works


Gas Float


If my memory serves me right, I had to drill out the hole just a bit... to fit the gas gauge rod.

A big cork coated in SealAll has been working for me for a long time. Sealall isn't dissolved by gasoline or ethanol. Lots of vintage floats were cork coated with varnish that ethanol or methanol dissolved making a mess in carburetors.

I got a new float from DJS, one of the sponsors here. Was like $4-5 IIRC. Fits just like the original.
