The hook that goes into the eye on draw bar is just hanging down I know that's not correct. My question is what holds it up? There is a small coil spring under there up by the step that's un hooked but also noticed there is a funny shaped looks like some kind of tension or cam type spring I'm going to call it that looks loose or maybe broke in the front of the bell. Any help is appreciated.

Look at the lower pic of the hook you can see the spring that is broken on your tractor, the top pic shows the AGCO part number for the spring.

My spring looks like the ones in top pic. Are thoes correct open on one end? If they are maybe my spring came out of place some how. How do they go back togeather mine is loose in there. Or do I have to take the assembly off tractor? Thanks.

One of two things, one the spring cross pin in the bell is out or the ends of the spring have worn off letting the spring become loose inside the bell. I'd order a new spring and replace it. It can be replaced with the bell on the tractor, pull the drawbar off first then look at the way the spring is sitting in my shot.

I had my hands on that spring yesterday but didn't know what it was supposed to look like. Does the open end just wrap around the pin or go into something? When you talk about the pin being wore out your talking about the big pin in pic not some smaller pin that holds the spring in place correct. Thanks.
