I was floating around on Craigslist this morning (it's an expensive habit, don't do it...) and saw a post of a D17 and D19 for sale. Price is $4000. There's not much info, and the pictures look a little blurry. Either way, seemed like a good price to me. What do you guys think? |

Looks like a deal to me? A few years ago just the narrow front D-19 stuff was worth a good bit.

That motor work on the D19 could be a good sign or a bad sign.I'd hesitate to put over 3K$ in them. That's if the PD and transmissions worked OK.

FYI
Both tractors sold at auction in trafalgar a couple of months ago. Both sold for less than 2000.00 dollars. Both were not running and pulled from barns. Also sold was AC 3 or 4 bottom and very nice sickle bar mower less than 200.00 dollars for both. The D17 had rear weights and very good rubber. The D19 had inside front wheel weights. The 17 also sold with front end loader. I have no idea what either tractor needed to get running. Not sure but think the 17 was a 58 or 59 model. |
