We bought the 180 about 1990 for $1500.  We needed another fairly heavy tractor to pack silage while making corn silage in our bunker silos and this one was available.  Later I added the loader.  The only money I have spent on it was for a new radiator and last year an electric fuel pump.  Runs great!

Once years ago and and in a far back field it got to coughing and spitting.  I took the carb off in the field and got that cleaned up but the gasket fell apart.  I cut a new gasket out of the seat with my pocket knife.

The D-17, I bought last fall.  I immediately added a factory 3-point from a salvage yard.  It used too much oil when we got to running it a little harder this spring, so we ended up buying and installing a rebuilt engine this summer.  It's in perfect running condition now.
