Anyone have any info on the six lug front ends? Is there a specific serial number known when they started to put them on the D15?

I do not know if those records were kept AJ . I believe they kept using the 5 bolt hubs and tires until they ran out . They stopped using A/C starburst emblem above radiator about same time . I have a 64 D-15 Ser II and a 1964 D-17 Ser IV that both have 5 bolt hubs and older staburst emblem on them . Have seen early 65's the same . Believe in 65 is when the change came

My 66 D15 II has the 6 bolt hubs and triangle logo.  Neighbor's 1965 D17 IV has 5 bolt hubs and sunburst emblem.  Draw your own conclusion from that...

I think the change over was sometime late 1965 or early 1966. Have a 66 D-17 IV diesel and 67 D-15 II both with 6 bolt fronts.
Nothing is impossible if it is properly financed

I have a 66 D17 (#81181) and it has 5 bolt on it. Could it have been an option possibly earlier then transitioned to standard after so long?

On D15 II @ serial number 22414 6 bolt hubs. I have 21883 and has 5 bolt hubs. It is a 1966. Looks like some time in 1966 6 bolt hubs were standard equipment.
