Need to rebuild the shuttle clutch on my D15 industrial (loader/backhoe).
Does anyone have a point of contact where to buy a service manual for it or is it the same as the AG D15 service manual. Is the shuttle clutch similar to the power director? Also, what is is good resource for shuttle clutch parts, disks etc.. And any advice on tackling this project? |

The shuttle clutch itself is identical to the power director clutch. What is wrong with yours ?? If it is slipping, I'd imagine it just needs shims moved around, not rebuilt.

Well to tell you the true th I’m not all to sure. I don’t know much about the PD. This is the situation. With the PD lever I can slowly go forward or reverse in all gears. But I can only do that at a low idle, any faster and the tractor stops. I’m thinking the transmission clutch is perhaps the issue and will fix the problem? Or is it a shim issue in the PD?

If the long shuttle clutch lever stays "locked" into reverse or forward, that clutch can't hardly be slipping. The throw on that lever is about 30+ inches front to back. It has to have a good crisp snap to it when you pop it into neutral. If not, it may need shimming to restore proper snap.
