My injector pump is leaking at the governor shaft. How much work is it to fix? I assume the pump has to come off to get the shaft out??

A couple years back we had mine apart at the Amana IA A-C show. I think if you are careful and clean, you ought to be able to take the top off without removing the pump from the engine.

If I remember correctly the shaft comes out in halves and will come out while the pump is on the engine. I believe the shaft seals are o-rings, but it's been a while since I've had one apart.

Yes the shaft is a 2 part shaft. They are easy to do on the tractor and have done a few that way.
