here is some photos of how I mounted the loader frame on my d14.  The 3/4 inch all thread sure looks tiny in the pictures.LOL  I also have a picture of what my gauges look like and as you can imagine the ones on the right side of the tractor and the tach don't work at all.  while researching prices for a tach some sights wanted to know if its clock wise or ccw and since mine don't work at all I haven't a clue.  Any help would be much appreciated, thanks dt

next step will be mounting a hydro pump on the front.  If your wondering the vice grips are because I ain't sure if I'm gonna weld the angle to the loader mount or just leave it bolted.

The factory used a 3/4 rod threaded at each end.
I noticed a couple of things while looking at the pictures.
There does not appear to be a spacer between the loader frame and the tractor frame. The D14 used a 1" spacer on each side.
The rear brackets appear to be off a D17 or WD. The D14/D15 brackets they angle up in front of the axle. I would guess they are WD since the front of the loader frames are cut square and from the hole pattern.

on my loader the front brackets are square and are not altered from how they were originally.  the rear mount are bolted to the two bolt holes on the back side of the axle that are cast in place.  The bracket hangs down and has a loop on the end that the pipe fits thru with a lock bolt to secure it. 

I think there are several different loaders that were available, One with tube type frame and one with box frame, that I know of.

When looking at the face of a tachometer, one for a gas tractor will go CCW to increase the RPM scale and a diesel tractor will go CW to increase the RPM scale.
If it was fun to pull in LOW gear, I could have a John Deere.

ok, ccw. thanks.  the freeman loader frame that was on the tractor when I got it had brackets bolted to the back of the rear axle that hung down and the loader frame slid into. 

If I move the loader frames up to the front flush with the grill the rear brackets come up in front of the rear axle.  This loader came with the tractor but the fella had no idea how it attached, so after looking at a few pics on line, a friend and my 5020's loader started setting things up to see how it fit, all the other loaders I've installed went under the rear axle so I did a bad thing and "assumed" this one did as well.  so now I'm wondering if I should slide it up to the front and redo the bracket to the rear axle. 

there was a small gap on each side of the frames of the loader and the tractor frame maybe about 1/4 inch on either side. but when I tightened the bolts it drew in tight?  any other tips I'm glad to hear em...

Looks like you have some other gauges that should be replaced as well.  Some of the vendors here can help you out.

since my generator isn't charging I'm not sure about the amp meter, but the only gauge that does work is the oil pressure.lol

It looks like the loader is positioned correctly. I based my comments on the D14 with a 400 loader I have and the pictures in the operators manual.

Yes, but it is easier to roll the front axle away with the bolster on it.  Just put a piece of 2x4 under each side of the pivot to keep it from flopping around.  The pulley will be clear as day.  Remember there are 2 set screws holding it in place - one on top of the other.

U bolts were not used on the D14 loader mount. There are brackets that mount on the 2 bolts on the rear housing as seen in the picture. Its just a bracket with a hole that allows it to slide over the end of the frame.
There were no spacers between the side rails and the loader frame unless you were installinf a D15 loader on a D14. The D15 frame rails are wider then on the D14.
I have a D14 loader on a D15 and had to offset the arms at the top of the frame.

Thanks for the tip on the set screws.  I was really hoping my depth perception was off and there was room to remove the pulley with out moving the bolster.Cry  my pulley has holes for a hub adapter, maybe I can bolt it on with out removing the pulley.  I've searched for a hub adapter for a d14 with no luck, but I think one from a ford naa will work as long as it's 6 spline, the bolt pattern is the same, but I have to use the pto from a n series that is 13" long.

Glad I hooked up the rear part of the loader the way I did, the bolts from the other loader frame broke off on the left rear of my tractor.  Thanks again for all the help. dt

edit:  the right front of my tractor only has 1 bolt going to what looks like a motor mount. the left side has 2?  the grill isn't shell isn't drilled for it, but there is a hole in the tractor frame, but it looks like the motor mount isn't drilled for it?  Not the first set of bolts in the front of the frame, but the second were my loader frame starts?  I really hope it's supposed to be that way.  again thanks dt.

I have a D14 loader on a D15 and had to offset the arms at the top of the frame.

The 400 loader on my D14 uses U bolts. The operators book and parts book also shows U bolts.

The Agco parts books show the rear mounts for a 414 and 415 loaders. I made a pair of them last year after someone on this forum provided me with dimensions. Ended up putting the loader on the D-17 IV that I bought afterwards.  The parts book and my manual shows spacers being needed for a D-14. You might want to get dimensions between your boom mounts and the boom.

mounts and boom are aprox. 39 1/8 on center. I did manage to find a serial number on the boom 83615?  don't know if it can be identified with that or not.

ok, thanks.  I had a swartz loader on my wd 45 with a 3 foot deep x 7ft wide bucket???
Currently this loader only has hay forks, so gonna have to build a bucket, probly only 4/5 feet wide. but that's for another day.

First gotta get this loader on and working.
