I have a D-12 With a navy department tag on it the tag serial number and the tractors all match this is a black bar tractor so it is low number anyways but does anybody know how many went to the navy?

There may be some information in C.H. Wendell's book The ALLIS Chalmers Story, as there is a picture of those tractors being loaded into box cars.
