Im working on a 1964 d10 series 3 and the hydraulic pump that is directly above the pto has cracked and is leaking everywhere. Was wondering if anyone knew where one might be to replace this on. The part number is 70236066.

There is a replacement that will work, but you will lose the use of traction booster. HTH Tracy

Norm meinart (sp?) here has a replacement pump, for about $600, that bolts right up. I think agco still sells the section that is cracked, but you'll have to find a good dealer, or someone here, with the part # handy.
Oh, and with a crack like that, I'd check to make sure that the relief valve is doing its job, before putting a new or rebuilt one on, and revving it up... ![]() Edited by DiyDave - 22 May 2017 at 6:28pm |

Well right now we haven't had much luck finding one. So I'm up for anything. The guy told me he was driving it and heard a pop then seen all the oil. Where would the relief valve be located on this model? He only parades this tractor and wants to keep it how it should be

At first when you posted I thought it would be a freeze crack, I bet after reading this you have busted gears. Might want to take it apart. HTH Tracy

Relief valve is on the valve bank, IIRR. It will be a cylindrical shaped object, sticking out of the front, to one side or the other of the levers...

The weird part is the hydraulic system still works. Took it to the local hydraulic shop and there is nothing they can do.

I was wrong, its on the back side of valve bank, to the right of the levers that lift/lower. Also was able to get a number, for the cracked part: (70)253272. This # was the one printed in my D-10/12 parts book. may be superseded or not available. Give Brenda at Sandy lake equipment a call, she could tell you...

I can make the cracked part. I would need to look at it for a price to machine it. HTH Tracy
