Its based on d-10/12 tractor, so you can find a 3 point hitch for it.  also needs a pto/hydraulic pump, to run it.  Your serial# puts it in series 2, I think, so pump/pto is more available for those, than for a series 3.  As for how many made, all d-10/12/I40/400, somewhere around 15-20 thousand tractors would be my guess, if I read norm's book right...  Iff'n I'm wrong, someone will correct me.  Does it have a standard tractor grille, or the hardnose?

I am not home now and do not have my library available.  I do remember the D-10 D-12 series was made for industrial use painted a cream yellow.  Later the D10 and D12 became the 140 as DiyDave says.  They were very basic tractors and could be used for backhoe loader work or other chores around an industrial setting - sweeping, mowing, whatever else.
If you will write me a PM after October I will be glad to gather what other information I have available.  If you can get MR SWINFIELS's Allis Chalmers Industrial book the inforamation will be there.
Good Luck!
