I've seen a picture some time ago of the gear shift pattern on a D grader. I'd thought I'd saved it, but now I can't find it. Would someone please post a picture of the D grader's gear shift pattern? Thanks

If it was fun to pull in LOW gear, I could have a John Deere.
Real pullers don't have speed limits. If you can't make it GO... make it SHINY |

That works. THANKS I knew where 1st & reverse were as they are about the only two gears the grader has power enough for.

They were geared too fast. They did make a reduction gear box for them but I was never able to find one for mine. It is a good thing the engine had lots of torque because I was often working with engine at a fast idle.

Good morning. If you have the auxiliary transmission, you can drop your ground speed in each gear by 66% (not 10%, not 15%, not 20%; but, 66%). Wow, what a difference this makes on your R P M's.

Ross, I hated to part with mine but I didn't I didn't think it would fit that well when we moved to a city sized lot or get much use on paved streets. You must be moving?

good day all. I have a D1598. It has been sitting for a long time. It ran when parked but the engine is stuck. Any advise on getting it turning again?

Assuming it's gas.... basic list.... 1-remove plugs 2-add 50/50 mix of acetone and ATF to all cylinders 3-wait a day 4- repeat 2 and 3 for a week drain tank and carb, see everything is 'free', charge batteries, etc. while waiting.. 5-blow out cylinders, connect battery, try to spin over 6a- no spin, goback to 2-3-4 6b - spins ! add plugs, fresh gas, try to start |

Thank you so much. Yes it is a gas.
How much do I put in each time? Is a ounce to much? Do I need to worry about getting acetone fumes getting into the crank case? Or does the ATF stabilize it enough. RZ
