A friend of mine just bought a D grader and I cant find a serial number chart on the internet for them. His number is D- 34471  --- it has cab, ripper, wheel lean, hyd. circle and power steering all factory installed.
Any idea what year it might be!! Thanks!

Well, ---- I thought it had too many too but thats what is on the tag. Next time I talk to him I will have him look again OR take a pic of the tag and post it here!
My D only has 4 numbers in it .
I wonder if the 1 on the end stands for something else or the 3 is an E?

If you can identify the engine, we can better identify the range of numbers.

The motor actually looks like a d-17 motor. Mine is a wd and some had 45 motors in them but his looks more like my E combine motor which is a d-17.
I will see if I can get time off and go take pix of the grader at his wrecking yard before he junks it.

If he is going to junk it, there are parts I would certainly buy.
