Looking to mount a 6' mower deck under my D-15. It's an extra deck I picked up several years ago and looks like it'd make a good fit under a 15. It's a gearbox driven Kubota deck with out board caster wheels and rollers so it should do a good job.
Now my question is what recomendations do I have for making some style of custom mounts that will allow for terrain following but still be solid enough on the tractor to not break anything if a bump or root or something is hit. I want to stay with a belly mount, not a 3-point. I was thinking about a 4 link dropped down from the engine side rails rather than a low slung pusher style like on the Woods decks. I'm no big fan of pushing something with that much side load.
I will also need some type of belt sheave to bolt up to the pto shaft to drive a belt. Preferably a double groove with enough diam. to gain some gear ratio before going to a shaft towards the gearbox.
