Hi Guys:  Have any of you seen any films that Allis may have produced showing the Allis Crawlers, Dozers and Shovels produced at the Springfield Works being field testing?

I know there are several farm tractor films but have seen few if any of the Construction machinery being tested at Allis proving grounds.

I would like to secure some of the films for the AC library.

Thank you...Orangeman

JR Collectables may have some. I have a VHS tape from JR that has a segment on building the Garrison Dam with A-C equipment around 1950. Shows two HD-19 crawlers put together as one unit. It's been a while since I've looked at it.
Nothing is impossible if it is properly financed

I posted one here a while back that showed the graders , scrapers and a bunch of crawlers . I believe they were listed on same page site on you tube that the D21 video was on.

THe two proving grounds were in Arizona, and central Illinois. First one was at Mechanicsburg Ill, then later move to Bluff City Illinois for more room. I worked at Bluff City for about 10 years. We did lots of tests, some photos and plenty of writeups. I dont remember many movie cameras. Normally the camera guys went to the  construction sites or mines to take  movies of the field use.
Like them all, but love the "B"s.
