Just wondering how some features work... cuz I dont own any.. The pd tractors, I assume you foot clutch every gear selection, whether moving or starting out, then high and low similar to the pd on my 200? What is the switch with the rabbit and turtle on the steering column? Ps tractors you would foot clutch to get out of park, then poower shift and down? I assume downshifting with a load behind them to slow the tractor down will shorten the life of the PS transmission?

The switch on the steering column is the power director selector switch. You can easily shift the pd transmission when speeding up on the road by starting out in 2 high or 3 high and then just shift up like a semi truck, using the clutch you need to be real careful not to engage the transmission brake, I shift mine without the clutch, but I shift all my semi's the same. The power shift you use the clutch to start movement and then you just use the top inch or two of the clutch pedal to make your up shifts and down shifts. My dad has never used the clutch in the power shift tractors this way, just moves the lever, and it makes it a much jerkier shift. There is a decal beside the gearshifts telling you how to shift them on the power shifts, if the decal is still there as I have only seen one but the manual tells you to do this the same way. I like the pd tractors way better myself but I am having a real hard time finding the pd shift solenoid for one right now and it sucks not being able to shift it into high.
