Two near here have closed from lack of shoppers.
Have to have a list of items and unit pricing before enter, about a third of supplied products NOT a bargain. |

They are good for prescription eyeglasses if yours does them. We use them for that and savings more than covers the membership costs. We don't buy in large quantities, so eyeglasses are about the only thing we use them for.

The MAIN thing is they are BIG and carry a LOT of stuff... Like " one stop shopping"... but most of the stuff is in BULK as mentioned... Good idea to walk around once and just see the diversity of products.

Sams Club and Costco - some items are good buys - others you have to watch close as Walmart might be cheaper or even other local stores .
Sams has good prices on bakery items , bread , and pork products , but on dairy , eggs, and some other items big quantity doesent always add up to bargain . Glasses , hearing aids , prescription drugs can be a savings as well as many over the counter pattent meds - found a prescription naisal spray could be bought for 1/3 price in generic on shelf even after so called insurance discount .
Big item I buy is gas as the pump prices are 30 to 50 cents cheaper per gallon than stations across the highway from Sam's |
