Anyone going to the Weiman  auction on May 3rd? 30 AC tractors. About 60 miles from where I grew up, and if anyone is going and interested I have a white top rotobaler, 4 row front mount cultivators for a WD45D and my brother has a 45D for sale at the home place.
ALLIS EXPRESS!

saw that auction bill.  about four hour drive from me.  said there was a buyer's premium and sales tax would apply.  have to think an additional 10% or so added on to the cost of whatever you buy.  wow!

I try to avoid auctions like that, but if I must go, I try to figure that into my budget, and subtract that amount from whatever my maximum price is, so I don’t overspend. Of course, I usually don’t win what I’m bidding on anyway...

I also have seen the add.  But why schedule a sale on May 3?  There are a few AC addicts that are still active in planting corn.  Do I discontinue praying for sunshine and pray for rain so that I could attend the sale?

No matter what date a sale is set there will be something or someone that has a conflict just the way it goes.

For those attending the Erck estate sale plan your route carefully! Many roads are closed due to flooding and more expected this weekend with the James river cresting at near record level. Most gravel roads are closed and many impassable even with front assist tractors. Not a wheel has turned here as field work is impossible and will be for weeks yet.I wish everyone good luck, should be enough orange for everyone.
