Topic: choke rod to carburetor connection on BPosted: 24 Apr 2018 at 9:35am |

Hey folks - new to the forum and trying to work out a few bugs on my B. I inherited it from my dad who, sometime in the 1960s, combined a 1939 B with a 1949 C or CA engine and transmission.
The Zenith carburetor had a broken connection to the choke rod. I rebuilt the carburetor and the replacement shaft, shown 2nd from the right is not the same as the original. Do you know what part connects this to the choke rod? Or did I order the wrong kit? Everything else from the kit worked perfectly. |

A choke lever should attach to the choke shaft (Second from the right) with a pin.
So if the carb did not have a choke lever on the shaft, you need to find a choke lever to put on it. |

The old part was broken, so I couldn't use it anyway. Any idea where I can get one?

The choke shaft needs a lever on it as shown in this picture.
