Found my loose wire in the harness and got my 6080 running.
Thought I would change fuel filter and now it seems I’ve lost my prime.
I cracked the nuts on top of injectors until they started leaking. Any advice

Did you fill the filter before installing? I am not a great mechanic but doing so seems to help with my diesels. I am sure someone on here will have the cure for you.

I think there is a bleeder plastic cap on the filter base. Crack it open to see if fuel is present. Once fuel runs out close it. At least the dads 6060 is that way, not sure about the 6080.

There is a T on back of the injector pump you can bleed it there . more than likely the return line on the top of your injector pump going to the tank is plugged ! the flex ring is probably went bad remove the T on top of the injector pump one line comes down from the injectors one line goes to the tank you will find junk on the injector side of the T with the check valve it Never loosen all injector lines at the injector this will allow a pump to suck air and you will never get it primed Unless it's a brand new pump . the fuel tank is completely full or it has a mechanical pump

Fuel is turned on at tank?? When doing fuel filter I first shut off fuel at bottom of tank, replace filter (Have it filled) then turn fuel on and there are 2 places to bleed. Top of fuel filter, a plastic lip and the injection pump facing the rear of tractor a plastic bleed screw??? Not sure what to call it but I unscrew both of those til fuel is spraying out then tighten and it fires right up! If not you probably have other issues. Good luck

You have air in all of injection system now. Loose injection lines at injectors.
Takes a 3/4 wrench. With pump tuned om, crank engine until fuel comes out of 1/2 the lines, then tighten lines and it should start.
When you change filters, DON'T turn fuel off at tank. Take plug out of top of filter base, remove old filter, letting fuel and any thing that might be in line run out. Replace new filter and wait until fuel runs out of bleed screw and replace screw. If it has a plastic bleed screw at pump inlet, loosen it until fuel runs out and close screw. It should start at the point. MACK
