I bought an allis chalmers and my serial number isn’t matching to the serial numbers I find online the serial number is C70628 it’s older tractor I’m guessing early 40s

What model tractor? You sure you have the serial number and not a casting number? Serial is stamped. Casting is raised.

If it is a C, the serial number would be located right near the shifter. Is that the number you are using?

It’s right by the lever it says tractor number C70628 and on my engine it says am2916-21

C70628 is the tractor serial number.

Around here $1200 gets you a excellent running C with like new tires and straight tin

It could use a paint but decent tires and Tin on start up every time I’m from upstate so people try and get outrages money for stuff
