You have a friend?

Just kidding.
What does the label on the side of the barrel say?
I tried to follow the science, but it was not there. I then followed the money, and that’s where I found the science.

I'm sure you guys are just funnin him, but for those who don't know, it's a honey extractor.  Stand it up, put 4 hive frames on each side and turn the crank, (after cutting the top off the cells of honey).  Turn the frames around and do it again to get both sides.  Usually a sticky mess by the time you are done!

JohnCo hit that nail square!!  Used one LONG time ago, set combs in the racks and spin GENTLY to release the honey, then return the comb frames to the hive boxes.

To use it and sell any honey at a farmers market or put it in a store, he would have to sterilize it, maybe sand or soda blast the whole thing and paint it with a special epoxy paint. If he doesn't want to use it, the Amish or Mennonites would buy it from him. They are a lot of work standing in one spot all day long and turning that darn handle. We bought a 12 frame radial electric powered unit and gave the two hand crank units to one of my Amish friends.
