It would be fun to fix, but around here a good running narrow front CA pin hitch has a hard time selling for $1000.

Too far for me. That is too big of a loader for a CA I do believe.

If I recall, we had a CA with a loader and it had cross bars that ran from the front to the bell housing on each side to help take the stress off the engine block. Doesn't look like this one had those installed.

I have seen two other CA's broken and their was a piece broke off both the engine block and the bell housing. Can't tell from pics about this one but the others I've seen both castings needed to be changed.

Buy the time you buy a different block, and install all the good components of this, if they ARE good, you have more than the value of the tractor in parts and labor.
I wouldn't blame the break on the loader. The same thing has happened to G's when operators think they own a dozer. |

More to this than just a heavy load on the loader. No matter how well it ran before it broke the engine is still gone. No different that one that is set up or a cracked block from freezing. It can not run until it is totally rebuilt in a different block. Most likely has a bent drive shaft as well Might even take a different torque tube when inspected. All new gaskets as an added expense. Scrap price at best minis loader that has a fair value.

Looks to me like the break area is quite dark in color down low. Been cracked for a long time and then a shock load finished it off.

Yep, looks like the bottom has been cracked for a good while, the middle has been cracked for some time, and the top is fresh. |
