Anybody ever put a tach on a CA or close to it, it’s a 12v system just curious to see really where 540 rpm is because it has a belly mower.

For what you want the tach for you may as well purchase a hand held mechanical tach and press it to the end of the PTO shaft. 540 will be at near open throttle anyway unless someone messed with the governor.
