He’s asking about the rockshaft, what the lift cylinders control, not the drawbar on the implements. Yes: the rockshaft is the same for both the pin hitch and snap coupler tractors is the same. For the snap coupler tractors have the end holes cut off. |

If it was fun to pull in LOW gear, I could have a John Deere.
Real pullers don't have speed limits. If you can't make it GO... make it SHINY |

...Is there a picture description for changing CA pin hitch to snap coupler...showing all parts needed and change over procedure. ...Also, is there a good topic to show parts and procedure to change to 3 point...after-market or factory. What is the best after-market 3 point for CA

My CA has the Snap Coupler. I have a Woods L306 mower on it. I had to take the Snap Coupler bell off because of the belt clearance. I wanted to put a drawbar on the tractor. I bought a pin hitch drawbar at an auction. I put it on the other day, my original question was if there was any difference in the lift arm length. My rockshaft did not have the end holes on it like the pin hitch rockshaft, but it still let me hook the pin hitch drawbar up. To change from pin hitch to Snap Coupler requires the lift arm latches, bell, and release lever. The end of the lift arms have to be cut off so the lift arm latches will fit. I have a Cross Mfg. 3 point adapter. It is made for a Snap Coupler, the same hitch is used for a pin hitch, just has a piece of pipe welded to the Snap Couple eye for the pin to go through. I bought it from Cross Mfg. they are just 20 miles from me. It is well made and easy to hook up and take off. Reasonably priced as well.

Yes Rusty it's like I said the pin hitch has longer arms, it wouldn't take a lot to make a adaptor or bolt on extention to make the pin hitch drawbar work.

![]() I have the CA Snap Coupler rockshaft that I drilled a second set of holes on each arm to mount the old style couplers to use on my homemade version of a 3 point adapter but I do not have my Anti-sway chains installed in this photo. I can still use the later version of snap couplers on these lift arms.DeWayne ![]() |
