Hi Folks,

The 3 point.  It's been great!  This CA never had a snap coupler.  Maybe not many did, I don't really know.  Normally this setup includes sway bars (like a little Ford) but I left them off just for today so I could adjust the drawbar height on the fly.


I added two-way cylinders so I could have down pressure.


The overriding clutch.  This CA does a lot of bush hogging.  I use a five foot mounted.


My two way hydraulics.  This was off an old dump truck that I once owned.  I'm thinking of adding a valve between the lines to get a float position.  Do you think that would work?


This , rather these, are kind of "involuntary" modifications.  A barn fell on it....snowload!.  My Cadillac was in there too.  I'll fix this someday if it starts looking funny to me.


A Surge bellyswinger milker bucket  tool box.  We actually used this until 1954 when we switched to DeLaval.  About 25 years ago we switched again to Boumatic.  I like these Surge milker bucket toolboxes because tools don't bounce out.  It's a good way to carry along a chain.  Do you see the gas gauge sticking out?


The seat, it's hard but form fitting.  We use this tractor every day.  She runs like a sewing machine but I am thinking electronic ignition for more power.


I need a rear wheel for this girl.  Please let me know if you can spare one.

I Like your hitch and one of a kind hydraulics. 

Question, I thought the overriding PTO is for non-live PTOs, and that you would need a decent slip clutch to prevent a bush hog from damaging the drive train.

What do you use for front weight when using the rear mower?

Since the CA isn't Independent PTO, if you get in trouble and panic just pushing in the foot clutch won't stop the tractor unless you have an over running clutch. Pulling the hand clutch would stop it.

I don't need any front end weight when using a bush hog with this tractor because there is a single wheel on a swivel on the back of the mower that takes quit a bit of the weight.  I just use the 3-point to adjust the cutting height.  There would be no reason to lift the mower clear off the ground.

I didn't see a hand clutch lever, does it not have a hand clutch?

No, when I bought it, the hand clutch was already gone.  I wish that it did have the hand clutch.  Can it be added?

Sure, all you need is the parts. You can put it on either side too.
