I know snap coupler was an option for the CA, but what were the other options and how would they would with mounted equipment?

Pin hitch was standard, snap coupler was optional as you said. Cultivators mounted to the frame and were raised by the hydraulic rams. 2 bottom plow was either pin hitch or snap coupler as well as a rear blade. Belly sickle mower. Just a few that I can think of. Our Ca is a pin hitch.

My CA is a snap coupler and easy to change tools. I like the tractor but would have really would have liked to have met the guy who designed the hand clutch. you don't see many people with two arms on there right side to operate the hand clutch and the hydro lever at the same time. but it does plow great with my two bottom snap coupler plow. Randy, it is possible to move the hand clutch to the left side. I believe Dennis A did this to his CA. He has several videos on you-tube working the CA and other old Allis equipment.
Edit; Has anyone heard from Dennis lately? He used to post quite a bit on here, haven't seen him on for quite some time now.

I need to fix the hand clutch on CA-2 this spring. Not sure if I will put it back on the right or move it to the left?

Guys have covered the hitch options well. I feel lucky that both of mine are snap-coupler. Parts tractor is/was pin-hitch.

If you move the hand clutch to the  left side then you have to deal with steering the tractor and clutch on the same side not real perfect either.  I guess i will live with mine the way it is just a bit unhandy . I have driven a John Deere 60 steer, use the hydro and the hand clutch at the same time you will be game fully employed. Randy

Randy, I'm mulling this over too. Will probably leave it on the right side. Only have to tear apart one side that way. I have never had any problems running the hand clutch and hydraulic lever on CA-1.
