I'd say homemade cause... 1) same paint as tractor, poorly sprayed(check coil + oil filter!) 2) hoses aren't 'neat, tidy and protected' 3) lack of control valve covers 4) rebar 'brace' ? picture of other side would be interesting, where's the oil coming from ?? |

It's not a ca. The rear wheels and hubs, and no floor pan under operator. Does it have a block off plate under the distributor? If so it probably isn't a 125.

The blade, itself, don't look like an AC roll-away moldboard...
I say home-made, too...

That is a C with a home made grader blade. The blade apears to be fairly well constructed. I don't know why they'd use cables for rotation instead of a hyd cylinder. I built one for my C with just manual levers and cables it was very useful.

CA has different rear rims, adjustable. Also does not have a bench seat and the front axel is attached different.

My CA has the power adjustable rims, but I have seen many people put those rims on because they are cheaper.
And I see those bench seats put on all makes of tractors. Thanks Boss Man. Too bad...farther than I wanna drive to get it. Would have been another cool project though.

?????????? All later B's. All C's and all CA's had the 125 engine. A plate blocking the spot where a fuel pump would go would suggest it is from a power unit, nothing more. |

I can't get a clear look at the rear axles, but the sorta look like a "B" rear end, so you need to check the serial number. Doesn't make much difference though. Leon

Hyd cylinders look like they are off a loader, as they have way to long a stroke. Run them all the way down and front wheels would be about 5 feet off the ground? Still a nice looking tractor and may be usefull for someone with long gravel driveway.

hmm, ok what I thought was rebar is actually a steel cable for turning the blade. THAT makes me wonder...hmmm. just HOW do you turn it ? And where's the oil come from? Internal pump or PTO driven? B, C are 3 speeds, CA is a 4 speed right? be nce to have a 'link' to it, if still for sale...

So what did the original add say ? .
Did they say in add it is a CA or is it just thought to be by seller because that is what decal says . Years ago at a GOTO in mid west there was what I think was a B tractor that sort of looked like a speed patrol .If I can find pictures I will post them .

You can't see it, but I'm thinking a PTO pump also Jay. i don't think the electric ones would be able to push enough oil unless it was a BIG pump. I'd say a C.
Over spray on the coil and the tires. Sloppy job to make a quick sale of a "restored" alien chambeler. |

hmm again, I blewup the 2nd picture and one of the hoses appears to terminate about a foor behind the front of the left fender. You can just see it between the fender and tire. I'm thinking it's the reurn line and goes INTO the 'torquetube' or whatever you can that piece of cast. I know 'Troy' here has a hole in the same spot, PO used as return for 'somethin' he dragged behind.... also if you look under the valve assy, there's another hose...I presume connects to the tractor's pump somehow. still curious as to how he turns the blade though, can't see any easily accessable lever for that.

Here is the one from the GOTO in 2002 in Il. I know nothing about the guy that done this one ,but it is cool. Everyone dose their own thing , and others try to figure out how or why . LOL
