Was there a mid mount grader blade made by Allis Chalmers for a CA?

There is not one listed in the CA brochure. Its not something that would have been used on a farm back when these were made. I have built two for C Allis's and it wouldn't be hard to build one for a CA. The easiest would be a 3pt adapter and back blade. a belly blade works much better. the two I built I got free discard grader blade edges and run push arms back to the Plow mount brackets and used just hand levers and cables to operate. one of the push arms needs to have a swivel built into it or you cant change the leveling. I angled to the right by having a shorter push arm on that side and it was non adjustable. a belly blade works very nice for leveling and shaping since its between the tires it shaves the high points and fills the low points.

I agree with RMD. Nothing from the factory was made by Allis-Chalmers for the CA.
That said, there may be homemade attempts.

there's a guy up here on Kijiji ( cdn CL..) that took a 416 rider and converted to roadgrader, wanted $1800 I think. kinda rough around the edges but it worked as it should ! IF I had a real use for it, i'd have bought.

Inherited my dads 1948 Farmall Cub with a 54A blade which can be mid mounted or front mounted. I plowed a lot of snow with it growing up. It was the first tractor I drove. I was hoping there was a similar grader blade made for a CA. Thanks, Tim
